I am Brian Cooper, II, a professional concert violinist and recording artist originally from Chicago, Illinois. My musical journey began at just four years old, when I first started learning the violin — a decision that would shape the course of my life. By the age of five, I became an inaugural member of the Make a Joyful Noise String Program at my church home, the Apostolic Church of God in Chicago. That early foundation instilled in me both discipline and a deep appreciation for the power of music.
As I grew in my craft, I had the privilege of studying under and being mentored by respected professional string players, including Edith Yokley, Racheli Galay, Samuel Williams, and Phyllis Calderon. Their guidance sharpened my technique, expanded my musical perspective, and reinforced the standard of excellence I carry into every performance.
As an adult, I have had the honor of joining the Chicago Sinfonietta Orchestra as a guest violinist for numerous concerts throughout the Chicagoland area. These experiences strengthened my versatility as a performer and deepened my commitment to delivering music with precision, expression, and professionalism.
In 2018, I officially launched WeWantCooper, transforming my lifelong passion into a premium live violin brand. Through this platform, I bring elevated musical experiences to weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations. Now based in Charlotte, North Carolina, I am known for delivering a polished, reliable experience with customized music tailored to fit each event perfectly. My goal is simple — to elevate the moment through intentional artistry, refined presentation, and unforgettable sound.
